Alexander Muhtaris is an associate attorney focusing his practice on toxic tort, products liability and premises liability litigation. With more than a decade of litigation experience, he has defended and managed hundreds of toxic tort product liability exposure cases throughout the state of Illinois from filing through settlement, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, responses, litigation strategies and client reports. Prior to joining Segal McCambridge in 2008, Mr. Muhtaris worked as a litigation attorney in construction litigation, premises liability, commercial litigation and transportation negligence at a law firm in Chicago.
Mr. Muhtaris earned his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he received the Chicago-Kent Merit Scholarship, the Hellenic Bar Association Scholarship and Dean’s list honors. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Northern Illinois University. Mr. Muhtaris is a member of the Hellenic Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
