Alexandra Kaczmarek is an associate attorney in the firm’s Chicago office. Focusing her practice on toxic tort and complex commercial litigation, Ms. Kaczmarek has extensive experience in defending her clients in all stages of litigation, including drafting motions, conducting legal research, making court appearances, taking depositions and trial preparation.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Ms. Kaczmarek worked as an associate at a Midwest litigation firm where she represented clients in medical malpractice, nursing home, personal injury, product liability and transportation matters. She also served as a clerk for the Cook County State's Attorney's Office and the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office.
Ms. Kaczmarek earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she won Best Oralist in her legal writing class, was on the Dean's List and was administrative director for the National Moot Court. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in human development from DePaul University, as well as minors in history, political science and sociology.
Outside of her work in the legal arena, Ms. Kaczmarek loves to take dance classes, draw and play with her cat, Pepper. She is a first-generation Polish-American and is fluent in Polish.
