Amanda Streetman is an associate attorney in the firm’s Austin office focusing on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. Ms. Streetman has experience representing first-party insurers in insurance coverage defense cases, as well as representing third-party insureds in numerous personal injury defense cases. She also has extensive experience conducting depositions, representing clients in mediation, collecting legal research, drafting dispositive motions and preparing for trial.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Ms. Streetman worked as an associate at a civil defense firm defending individuals, truck drivers, employees, and various Texas businesses and business owners against general liability claims, dram shop claims and business disparagement claims. She also served as an associate at a litigation firm where she successfully represented insureds involved in motor vehicle incidents and numerous property management companies in lawsuits involving premises liability claims. Ms. Streetman also clerked for the Dallas County District Attorney's Office and the Honorable Nancy Mulder, Dallas County Criminal Court #4.
Ms. Streetman earned her J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law, where she attended the SMU-in-Oxford, UK, Summer 2015 Comparative Law Program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies and Russian from Texas A&M University, graduating magna cum laude in the Honors Fellows program.
