Anderson C. Franklin is an associate attorney in Segal McCambridge’s Chicago office, focusing his practice on toxic tort litigation.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Mr. Franklin worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Sara Ellis in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and for the Honorable John Baker in the Indiana Court of Appeals. As a judicial extern, he had experience researching and analyzing federal and state case law, and composing draft opinions ruling on motions and appeals in a variety of civil and criminal cases. He also has experience as a legal intern for a regional hospital system, where he analyzed case files, revised contracts and corporate policies, and composed legal memoranda for departmental and corporate use.
Mr. Franklin earned his J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, graduating cum laude. While attending law school, he served as Managing Editor for the Indiana Law Journal and received CALI Awards for the highest grade in Labor Law, Internet Law, and Constitutional History Colloquium.
Before attending law school, Mr. Franklin earned his B.A. in Psychology from Indiana University, where he graduated with highest distinction honors and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Academic Honor Society. He is currently licensed to practice in the state of Indiana and the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
