Andrea K. Bouchard is an associate attorney in Segal McCambridge's Detroit office focusing her practice on civil litigation, particularly on transportation and trucking related matters.
Prior to becoming a licensed attorney, Ms. Bouchard worked at an international transportation services conglomerate in many capacities, most notably in both the Human Resources and Legal departments. In the Legal department, she managed matters in the areas of cargo claims, auto liability including bodily injury and property damage, property damage recovery, employment, and collections throughout the US, frequently serving as Corporate Representative. This experience lead to expertise in several types of trucking including less-than-truckload, truckload, intermodal, flat bed, and other specialized trucking including in-depth knowledge of industry practices as well as the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC) guidelines and their practical application in the industry. Ms. Bouchard most recently worked as corporate counsel at an automotive supplier handling labor relations and employment issues.
Ms. Bouchard received her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School where she was an Honors Scholarship recipient. Prior to attending law school, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Michigan State University.
