Andrea Faes is an associate attorney in the firm’s Detroit office. Focusing her practice in first and third-party automobile negligence, insurance coverage disputes and general negligence, Ms. Faes has extensive experience in drafting motions, conducting and defending depositions, handling discovery and case evaluations.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Ms. Faes worked as an associate at multiple litigation firms where she represented automotive insurance companies. She also served as an attorney and legal intern for the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office.
Ms. Faes earned her J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where she was the recipient of the Book Award in Property Rights Seminar in Animal Law, president of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund, chairperson for the UDM Race for Justice 5k Planning Committee, member of Delta Theta Phi and an executive board member for the Student Bar Association. She holds two bachelor’s degrees: one in international relations and political theory & constitutional democracy and a second in French from Michigan State University.
Outside of her work in the legal arena, Ms. Faes is interested in spending time outdoors, traveling and volunteering with animal rescue organizations. She also enjoys spending time with her friends, family and her cat, Lola.
