Bennet Acker is an associate attorney focusing his practice on toxic tort, products liability and complex commercial litigation. He has extensive experience in trial preparation, drafting complaints and interrogatories and preparing depositions. He has also performed a variety of legal research including expert witness exclusion, mass tort claims, product liability issues and contract disputes. Mr. Acker began his career as a summer associate and then a law clerk at Segal McCambridge.
Mr. Acker is entrepreneurial and dedicated to giving back. During law school he worked as a 1L mentor, oral argument coach, and OCI interviewing mentor. He also represented workers seeking unemployment relief through an appeals process. Prior to law school, Mr. Acker was the co-founder of SMS-Madison, a viral marketing company that provided strategies, rewards programs and phone applications for University of Wisconsin students.
