Cameron W. Brown is an Associate Attorney in Segal McCambridge’s New York office focusing his practice on the defense of complex tort litigation matters, including labor law, construction defect, negligence, as well as product liability claims including medical device, medical instrument, and breach of warranty. Mr. Brown has extensive litigation experience managing cases from assignment through the initial trial stage. He is currently admitted to practice in the state of New York.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Mr. Brown worked as an associate attorney at a medical malpractice litigation firm. There, he met with witnesses and experts, took key party and witness depositions, and managed a rigorous caseload. In addition to his hands-on case management skills, Mr. Brown has significant motion practice and court experience.
Mr. Brown received his Juris Doctor with a concentration in Litigation from Fordham University School of Law in New York City. While at Fordham, he was a member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal and received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award, cum laude. During this time, Mr. Brown gained experience with trial practice in the school’s criminal defense legal clinic.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Brown worked for an engineering and land surveying firm as Director of Real Estate Management in New Jersey, and held a position as a Field Specialist for a medical supply company where he provided on-site medical device expertise to surgeons.
Mr. Brown received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston. He was on the Men’s Varsity Rowing team and served as a correspondent for The Huntington News.
In his spare time, Mr. Brown enjoys skiing, sailing, and playing the guitar.
