Catherine Gorman is an associate attorney focusing her practice on toxic tort and complex commercial litigation. She has extensive experience managing caseloads of workers' compensation files, conducting and defending depositions, reviewing medical records, drafting settlement agreements, releases and contracts, and presenting legal reports. Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Ms. Gorman worked as an associate attorney at a litigation firm in Chicago. She has also served as a 711 Law Clerk at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office in both the Felony Trial Division and the Child Support Enforcement Division. During law school, Ms. Gorman served as a judicial extern for The Hon. Charles P. Kocoras.
Ms. Gorman earned her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School, where she earned Dean's List honors and received the Public Interest Scholarship, the JMLS Alumni Scholarship, and the Dean's Scholarship. Before attending law school, she earned a master's degree in community counseling from Loyola University Chicago and a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin.
