Christine Varghese is an associate attorney in the firm’s New York office. Focusing her practice in sports, recreation & entertainment, construction litigation and complex commercial litigation. Ms. Varghese has extensive experience taking and defending depositions, writing and arguing motions in court and writing briefs before the state, federal and appellate court.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Ms. Varghese worked as an associate at a number of litigation firms where she practiced construction litigation, complex commercial litigation and handled various professional liability matters.
Ms. Varghese earned her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, where she was a Mooers Trophy Recipient in 2017 for her outstanding work in trial advocacy and winner of the Peter James Johnson National Civil Rights Competition in 2015. She was also President of the Mock Trial Honor Society, involved with the National Civil Trial Competition, Texas Young Lawyers National Trial Competition, National Ethics Trial Competition, writer for the Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law, and member of Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and political science from Stony Brook University.
Outside of her work in the legal arena, Ms. Varghese is interested in spending time with friends and family, and pursing her hobbies, which include basketball, zip-lining and coaching mock trial.
