For more than 30 years, Mr. Farman has devoted his practice entirely to defending motor carriers, warehousemen, and their insurers in matters involving cargo loss and damage. His work has encompassed litigation across the country and in several United States Courts of Appeals. Mr. Farman has represented inland marine insurers in coverage disputes and in the defense of their insureds. He also represents motor carriers and warehousemen directly.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Farman has conducted educational programs for his insurance company clients and, for more than two decades, presided over annual sold-out cargo liability seminars conducted by his former firm, Schindel Farman Lipsius Gardner & Rabinovitch. He was also a principal of Central Analysis Bureau, Inc., a company which provides financial and safety information to the inland marine underwriting community. For several years, Mr. Farman served on the Transportation Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
