Erich Schenk is a senior associate attorney in the firm’s Houston office. Focusing his practice on insurance, products liability and commercial litigation, Mr. Schenk is an accomplished trial lawyer with significant state and federal court experience in product liability, mass tort, complex commercial/business and catastrophic injury litigation. He represents commercial clients across a broad range of industries, including automotive, consumer electronics, manufacturing equipment, and petrochemical. He has also defended cases on behalf of a number of National Basketball Association teams, and their employees, in Texas.
Mr. Schenk has experience working on the corporate side as well as with national litigation firms. Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, he worked as of counsel at a litigation firm, focusing his practice on insurance defense and commercial litigation. He also served as a contract attorney for various types of boutique litigation firms, and as counsel for residential and commercial property owners.
Mr. Schenk earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Trinity University.
Outside of his work in the legal arena, Mr. Schenk enjoys being outdoors, going to the beach with his wife, Alicia, and their family, cooking for his and Alicia’s seven children, and being entertained by the family dog, Boss.
