Hampton French is an associate attorney in the firm’s Chicago office. Focusing his practice on toxic tort, Mr. French has extensive experience in every stage of the litigation process, including pleadings, motions, depositions and conducting legal research.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Mr. French worked as an associate at a Missouri-based litigation defense firm where he worked primarily in medical malpractice. He also served as assistant counsel for the Missouri Department of Transportation and as a graduate research assistant for the University of Missouri Office of Technology Management.
Mr. French earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law, where he was involved with the school's Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Missouri.
Outside of his work in the legal arena, Mr. French is interested in staying active, spending time with friends and family and working on his golf game.
