Janine Wong is an associate attorney focusing her practice on complex commercial and civil litigation matters, intellectual property law, business and contract law, and professional liability. She has extensive experience in all stages of litigation, including motion and appellate practice, alternative dispute resolution, trial, trial preparation, discovery and deposition preparation, conducting legal research and writing, and drafting pleadings, appellate briefs and substantive motions. She is also seasoned in managing all phases of discovery, and preparing settlement agreements and enforcing judgments.
Prior to working at Segal McCambridge, Ms. Wong worked as an associate attorney with a complex commercial litigation firm in New York City. She also has experience working with a Mediation Clinic where she successfully mediated numerous disputes in a variety of forums, and as a Judicial Intern for the Hon. Judith J. Gische, New York State Supreme Court, County of New York (the Hon. Judith J. Gische is presently sitting with the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, First Department).
Ms. Wong earned her B.A. with a double major in Psychology and Philosophy, Politics & Law from Binghamton University, and her J.D. from the City University of New York School of Law. During her time as an undergraduate, she was a member of the Student Association Judicial Board, a volunteer with the High Hopes Student Hotline Crisis Center, and a Dean’s List Scholar. While in law school, Ms. Wong served as a Teaching Assistant for Property Law and a Research Assistant for Real Estate Law, and was a staff member and the Associate Managing Editor for the New York City Law Review. In addition to being admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, Ms. Wong is also a certified Notary Public for the State of New York.
