Jeremy Dongilli defends clients involved in products liability matters arising from exposure to toxic substances including asbestos, benzene, silica, lead, diacetyl, and thimerosal. He has also defended the interests of pharmaceutical clients involved in multijurisdictional products liability lawsuits. Mr. Dongilli has served as lead attorney on cases and is experienced with all aspects of the litigation process. Additionally, he has created and led programs to educate risk managers, insurance brokers, and clients on emerging litigation trends related to nanotechnology in consumer products.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Mr. Dongilli worked in-house at one of the world's leading insurance companies handling insurance coverage matters, as well as advising on asbestos and toxic tort defense cases. Mr. Dongilli has extensive experience in coverage matters, including various state case law on the application of allocation, trigger, and occurrence under primary and excess coverage, and coverage issues arising from Bermuda Form policies.
Prior to law school, Mr. Dongilli served as a legislative aide for the Honorable Robert Ehrlich, Member of Congress. He also clerked for the Honorable Harvey Weissbard on the New Jersey Superior Court - Appellate Division, an experience which provided valuable insight into the appellate process.
Mr. Dongilli lives in Lambertville, New Jersey with his wife, Kimberly, and twin sons, Levi and Jack.
