Jonathan Heller is an associate attorney in the firm’s New York office. Focusing his practice on general defense litigation, Mr. Heller has extensive experience handling all aspects of litigation, including arguing motions and appeals, drafting pleadings, litigation assessments and strategy reports, negotiating settlement agreements and reviewing and analyzing contractual agreements.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Mr. Heller practiced as a senior associate at a national litigation defense firm. He also served as an associate at a New York commercial litigation firm where he handled matters in Civil Court and the New York Supreme Court.
Mr. Heller earned his J.D. from Maurice A. Deane School of Law, where he earned a Merit Scholarship and was managing editor of the Family Court Review. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Queens College, City University of New York.
Outside of his work in the legal arena, Mr. Heller is interested in golf, history, meteorology, New York sports and spending time with his wife and son. He is also involved as a board member at several non-profit organizations.
