Lars Knutson is an associate attorney in the firm’s St. Louis office. Focusing his practice in toxic tort and general liability, Mr. Knutson has extensive experience drafting motions and memoranda, arguing and obtaining dismissal and has second chaired a design liability case.
Mr. Knutson has deep experience with litigation in the St. Louis area. Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, he worked as an associate at a St. Louis litigation firm. He also served as a litigation associate at a Missouri-based civil litigation firm and as a student attorney for the Missouri Attorney General's office, the Missouri Public Defender's Office and the United States Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Missouri. He was also a cavalry officer for the United States Army.
Mr. Knutson earned his J.D. from Washington University School of Law where he earned the Certificate of Excellence in Oral Advocacy Award, was a member of the Washington University in St. Louis Trial Team and participated in the Missouri Attorney General's Cup Trial Advocacy Competition. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from California State University San Bernardino.
Outside of his work in the legal arena, Mr. Knutson is interested in philosophy, military history, muscle cars and comedy.
