Lee Hurwitz is an associate attorney focusing his practice on toxic tort, product liability, transportation, life sciences and sports, recreation and entertainment. He has extensive experience handling insurance defense cases involving personal injury and subrogation claims, and has prepared dozens of transportation cases for jury trial, taking nine cases to verdict as solo lead counsel. He has also conducted oral and written discovery and coordinated litigation strategy with insurance carriers' adjusters and managers. Prior to working at Segal McCambridge, Mr. Hurwitz was an associate attorney with a litigation group in Chicago.
Mr. Hurwitz is a member of the Chicago Bar Association. He earned his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School, where he received a CALI Award in Employment Discrimination and served as the editor for the Journal of Computer and Information Law. Mr. Hurwitz also holds bachelors degrees in journalism and political science from Indiana University.
Mr. Hurwitz lives in Chicago with his wife, Marti, and his son Evan.
