Lindsey Tylus is an associate attorney focusing her practice on product liability and toxic tort and commercial litigation. She handles these matters on national and local level from inception to trial, including conducting and defending depositions, arguing motions, negotiating settlements, and preparing for and appearing at trial. Ms. Tylus has prevailed on various summary judgment motions and obtained numerous dismissals for equipment manufacturers in toxic tort actions.
Ms. Tylus serves as National Coordinating Counsel for an international corporation. In that capacity, she manages nationwide asbestos litigation, develops and implements strategy and budgets, prepares corporate witnesses for deposition, coordinates discovery, and trains local counsel. She also handles international consulting matters.
She also serves as local counsel for other equipment manufacturers and premises defendants and handles matters throughout New York and New Jersey. Finally, Ms. Tylus assists corporations with compliance and licensing-related matters.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Ms. Tylus worked at a leading law firm in New Jersey on insurance defense, focusing primarily of discrimination, wrongful termination and premises liability matters. In defending these claims, Ms. Tylus conducted and defended depositions, argued motions and prepared cases for trial.
Ms. Tylus is committed to community service and plays an active role in Cycle for Survival and the American Brain Tumor Association. An avid sports fan and athlete, Ms. Tylus played on Columbia University’s Varsity Women’s Soccer team and now enjoys marathon running.
