Madeline Tzall focuses her practice on toxic tort and premises liability defense. In the toxic tort arena, Ms. Tzall serves on the National Coordinating Counsel team for an international company and frequently defends a number of industrial product manufacturers at depositions throughout the country. In this capacity, she develops and coordinates asbestos defense litigation strategies with local counsel and personally oversees cases in high-indemnity jurisdictions. Ms. Tzall also manages premises liability matters for a prominent chemical manufacturing company. She provides a range of services to her clients including extensive discovery work, drafting motions, and executing overall litigation strategy. Ms. Tzall proactively communicates case updates and developments to clients to ensure they are informed during each step of the litigation process.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Ms. Tzall gained courtroom experience as a family law attorney. In this role, she counseled clients on a wide variety of domestic relations issues including complex property division, child custody, visitation, maintenance, contempt and enforcement proceedings, prenuptial agreements, and domestic violence.
Ms. Tzall received her B.A. from the University of Michigan in 2007 and earned her law degree and Certificate in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2012. As a law student, Ms. Tzall interned for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois. She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Michael T. Mason of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and to the Honorable Mary Anne Mason of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Chancery Division.
