Mailise Marks is an associate attorney in the firm's Jersey City office focusing her practice on complex commercial litigation, construction litigation, counseling, and premises liability. She has extensive experience developing cases, including appearing for court conferences, drafting and responding to pleadings, motions and briefs, conducting depositions, and communicating with clients.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Ms. Marks worked at an insurance defense litigation firm where she handled various matters related to construction defects, premises liability, and Labor Law in New York and New Jersey. Ms. Marks served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Michael T. Collins, Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey. During law school, Ms. Marks interned with several members of the Rhode Island Judiciary, served as a student attorney for her law school’s immigration clinic, and interned for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation’s Accident Recovery Department.
Ms. Marks received her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law, where she was a Member of the Honor Board. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Temple University in Philadelphia.
