
Mari Bryn Dowdy is an associate attorney focusing her practice on toxic tort and complex commercial litigation, as well as personal injury defense. Ms. Dowdy has extensive experience in all stages of litigation including preparing and arguing motions, obtaining and responding to discovery, taking and defending witnesses at depositions, and advocating in hearings and at trial.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Ms. Dowdy worked as an associate at an insurance defense firm in Houston. She earned her J.D. from Baylor Law School. During law school, she was a member of the National Civil Trial Competition Team, National Trial Competition Team and the ABA National Appellate Moot Court Team. She was also named to both the Order of Barristers and the Dean's List.
Ms. Dowdy holds a B.A. in sport management with honors from the University of Texas. While at UT, she participated in the Texas 4000 for Cancer, a 4,500-mile bike ride from Texas to Alaska to raise money for cancer research.
