Melissa Hewitt is an associate attorney focusing her practice on toxic tort and complex commercial litigation matters. She has extensive experience in all stages of litigation, including negotiating contracts, drafting pleadings and motions, and providing guidance on IP strategies. Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Ms. Hewitt worked as an attorney for an education technology company. Before that, she worked in the Office of the Chief Counsel for NASA.
Ms. Hewitt earned her J.D. from Indiana University, where she served as Notes Editor of the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies. Ms. Hewitt holds a Bachelor's degree from Cornell University, and is licensed to practice in Illinois.
