Morgan Fiander is an Associate Attorney in the firm's New York City office focusing her practice on toxic tort litigation, product liability, and complex commercial litigation. She has extensive experience representing clients in various litigation matters at trial and appellate levels, including appearing for court conferences, hearings, and oral arguments, drafting and responding to pleadings, motions and briefs, and conducting depositions.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Ms. Fiander worked at a defense firm where she handled various matters related to nursing home liability, insurance coverage litigation, medical malpractice, and other complex tort litigation. While in law school, Ms. Fiander also worked at the Virginia Capital Case Clearinghouse, assisting in the defense of individuals charged with capital offenses at the state and federal levels.
Ms. Fiander received her Juris Doctor from Washington & Lee University School of Law. While there, she served as Lead Articles Editor for the German Law Journal, Student Bar Association Third-Year Class President, Co-President of the Women Law Students Organization, and Phi Alpha Delta Charity Auction Co-Chair. Prior to law school, Ms. Fiander attended the University of Washington where she earned a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in International Studies and French.
Outside of work, Ms. Fiander enjoys running, ballet, ancient history, and cheering on all Seattle sports teams.
