Nathan Horne is a trial lawyer who manages an active litigation docket statewide, successfully defending federal class action, pesticide, asbestos, benzene, silica, environmental spill, Section 1983, and product and premise liability matters. He serves as Texas counsel for several clients and has extensive trial experience in Jefferson, Nueces, Bexar, Smith, Dallas, Harris, Galveston and Milam Counties, among others. Mr. Horne also serves as National Coordinating Counsel for three large product manufacturers, developing and coordinating the defense across the country. He also has considerable experience defending clients in matters pertaining to construction litigation.

Mr. Horne serves on Segal McCambridge's Executive Committee. He has deep ties to the State of Texas, as his family has been there for 150 years. He currently resides in Austin with his wife and two children.

Representative Matters

  • Defense verdict as the only defendant in Montgomery County, Texas, in the matter of Jimmy Ward v. Garlock.
  • Obtained non-suits for over 2400 asbestos claims for a Fortune 500 electrical manufacturer in Texas and Arkansas.
  • Has tried more than 20 cases to verdict in state and federal court.
