Nicole Nystrom is an associate attorney focusing her practice on products liability and toxic tort litigation. She has extensive experience preparing witnesses during pre-trial conferences, assisting with document production and trial preparation and conducting dispositional hearings. She has also negotiated plea agreements with prosecutors, and attended court hearings where she made motions on misdemeanor and felony cases. Prior to working at Segal McCambridge, Ms. Nystrom worked in the Juvenile Justice Bureau at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office as a law clerk in the delinquency division and the child protection division. She has also worked as a law clerk for the Hon. Judge Kathleen B. Lang in LaPorte County, Indiana, and in the Lake County Prosecutor's Office in Crown Point, Indiana.
Ms. Nystrom earned her J.D. from Valparaiso University Law School in 2014. She was a member of the trial advocacy team and competed in the AAJ Student Trial Advocacy Competition and the Inter American University Trial Advocacy Competition. She also holds a B.A. in criminal justice and sociology with a minor in business from Indiana University.
