Nisha Lakhani is an associate attorney focusing her practice on toxic tort, medical malpractice and products liability litigation. She has extensive experience in all aspects of insurance defense actions, including researching and drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, deposition and court appearances in all five boroughs of New York City. She also served as a second chair to a products liability trial, rendering a defense verdict. Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Ms. Lakhani worked as an associate attorney at a civil litigation defense firm in New York City. She is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts.
Ms. Lakhani earned her J. D. from Suffolk University Law School, where she served as a staff member and content editor of the Journal of High Technology and earned Dean's List and Pro Bono honors. As part of her pro bono work, Ms. Lakhani volunteered with the Women’s Bar Foundation and Volunteer Lawyers Project. She also holds a bachelor's degree in political science with a minor in economics from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
