Reem Goria is an associate attorney in the firm’s Detroit office. She has experience preparing and defending clients in deposition, as well as drafting case evaluation summaries, settlement demands and facilitation summaries.
Ms. Goria brings plaintiff-side experience to the firm, having served as an associate attorney at a personal injury firm in Detroit. While there she gained trial experience including defending motions, responding to dispositive motions and defending case evaluations.
Her experience also includes serving as a legal intern at two Detroit-area firms, where she obtained successful motions to sanction opposing counsel, assisted in voir dire, drafted Guardian ad Litem reports and conducted client interviews.
Earlier in her career, she served as a legal intern in the Arson Division of the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, where she performed legal research, drafted motions and presented at trial.
Ms. Goria earned her J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School where she was a Lexis Nexis Certified Professional Researcher and spent a summer studying international law at Oxford University. She has a bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University.
She is fluent in Neo-Aramaic. Outside of her work in the legal arena, she enjoys traveling, poetry writing and cheering on the Detroit Red Wings.
