Rita Samaan is an associate attorney in the firm’s Michigan office. Focusing her practice in business law, products liability and auto negligence, Ms. Samaan has extensive experience drafting briefs, writing dispositive motions, legal research and discovery.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Ms. Samaan worked as an associate at a litigation firm where she practiced products liability and insurance defense. She also served as a student attorney for The University of Michigan Pediatric Advocacy Clinic and The University of Michigan Unemployment Insurance Clinic.
Ms. Samaan earned her J.D. from The University of Michigan Law School, where she earned the dean's scholarship, was an editor for the Michigan Journal of Race and Law and was a member of the International Refugee Assistance Project and the Human Trafficking Database Project. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Slavic studies from Wayne State University.
Outside of her work in the legal arena, Ms. Samaan is interested in traveling and taking dance lessons.
