Thomas Wright is an associate attorney in the firm’s New York office focusing his practice on matters related to general liability and violations of the New York Labor Law. Mr. Wright has extensive experience in all facets of civil litigation including advocating before the Court, written discovery, conducting and defending depositions, motion practice, appeals, jury selection, trial preparation, alternative dispute resolution and negotiating settlements.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Mr. Wright worked as an associate at multiple insurance defense litigation firms and defended a wide range of clients, including individuals, small businesses, sole proprietorships and multinational corporations. At each of these firms he primarily defended the interests of insureds in actions sounding in general negligence and violations of the New York Labor Law.
Mr. Wright earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he earned the CALI Award in arbitration. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Saint Michaels College.
Outside of his work in the legal arena, Mr. Wright is interested in hockey, golf, hiking, camping and his two dogs, Bear and Scout.
