Legal Secretary (MI) needed in our Southfield office. A minimum of 1 - 2 years of legal secretary or related experience preferred. Responsibilities include: creating, editing, formatting and finalizing a wide variety of legal documents, communicating with courts, outside counsel, clients and vendors, establishing and maintaining calendar and deadline reminder systems, and other administrative duties as assigned. This position requires familiarity with State and Federal court procedures and rules, the ability to proofread and perform editing, proficiency with Microsoft programs, and interpersonal skills. A minimum of three years Litigation experience necessary; familiarity with NY State & Federal courts essential. Experience supporting at partner level preferred.
