Catherine Goldhaber to Moderate DRI Webcast on Medicare Advantage Plans

On Thursday, Feb. 13, Catherine Goldhaber, a shareholder in Segal McCambridge's Chicago office, will moderate a webinar on Medicare Advantage Plans, presented by Defense Research Institute’s Workers Compensation Committee. The program, “Risky Business: Medicare Lien Recovery Extending Now to Medicare Advantage Plans – Are You at Risk?” also features speakers J. Russell Goudelock, a member of DRI’s Workers’ Compensation and Employment and Labor Law committees, and Mark Popollzio, vice president of MSP Compliance and Policy for ISO Crowe Paradis in Massachusetts. The webinar will focus on defining MA plans, these plans' role in the medicare program, and will offer practical compliance approaches for practitioners.

Ms. Goldhaber is a defense attorney, protecting insured and self-insured companies in toxic tort litigation as both national and local trial counsel. Complementing her active litigation practice, she regularly consults on Medicare Secondary Payer Act issues, assisting in related disputes nationally. An active member of DRI, Ms. Goldhaber serves as vice chair for DRI’s Medicare Secondary Payer Task Force. She also serves on the DRI Toxic Torts and Environmental Law Committee and the DRI Women in the Law Committee.
