Pennsylvania Shareholder Megan Grossman to Speak at ACI's 4th Annual Women Leaders in Life Sciences Law Conference
Pennsylvania Shareholder Megan Grossman will present as a panelist at the American Conference Institute's (ACI) upcoming 4th Annual Women Leaders in Life Sciences Law Conference. Ms. Grossman is one of three speakers who will present on the panel, "Trump Administration: Keeping Ahead of the Changes." During the panel presentation, Ms. Grossman will speak to the changes to regulatory agencies that Life Sciences companies and their counsel have had to be cognizant of under the new administration, including the Department of Justice's latest enforcement priorities. She will also offer strategies for preparing for upcoming changes and for combating such changes as appropriate. Panelists will also discuss how these changes will affect Life Sciences agencies such as the FDA, CMS, PTO and HHS and will emphasize skills necessary to adapt timely to the changes. Megan Grossman is a shareholder in Segal McCambridge's Philadelphia office and is Chair of the firm's Life Science, Medical Device and Pharmaceutical Practice Group. Ms. Grossman began her career in the biomedical field and now focuses her law practice on representing various medical device and pharmaceutical companies in products liability matters relating to life sciences and biotechnology. She represents medical device companies in claims arising out of alleged malfunctions of surgical equipment, instruments, and implants; defending pharmaceutical companies in actions arising out of personal injury claims involving prescription medicines or over-the-counter (OTC) drugs; defending companies in relation to claims involving clinical trials; and serving as defense counsel in numerous mass-tort litigation both locally and nationwide.
