Presented by Defense Research Institute’s Employment and Labor Law Committee, “How the Medicare Secondary Payer Act Impacts Employment Litigation” will review the act, what it involves, and will give special attention to claims where coverage may apply under Employment Practices Liability Insurance Policies. Attendees will receive CLE credit.
Ms. Goldhaber will co-present with Rafael Gonzalez, Director for Medicare and Medicaid Compliance at Gould & Lamb LLC, and Robert A. Luskin, partner at Goodman McGuffey Lindsey & Johnson LLP.
Ms. Goldhaber, a shareholder in Segal McCambridge’s Chicago office, represents clients facing claims of injury related to product liability, toxic tort and hazardous substances, and transportation matters. She counsels numerous clients in Medicare Secondary Payer issues and was selected to be a member of DRI’s MSP Task Force, which provides national updates and resources on the laws that affect claims and litigation involving claimants who are Medicare beneficiaries.
