Segal McCambridge has already surpassed the amount of free legal services it provided to the disadvantaged in 2010 through the month of September in 2011, the firm announced today. Last year, Segal McCambridge provided $318,000 worth of free legal services to pro bono clients. So far this year through the month of September, that amount has reached $319,000.
This is a firm-wide figure, reflecting pro bono activity by attorneys and paralegals in all of the firm's seven offices.
"Each year we strive to increase both the amount of service provided to the community and the number of attorneys donating their talents," says Catherine Goldhaber, a Segal McCambridge shareholder and chair of the firm's Pro Bono and Public Service Committee. "These numbers reflect that enthusiasm for giving back to the community is contagious."
