Edward J. McCambridge Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who’s Who

Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Edward John McCambridge with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, he celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. In 1986, Edward founded Segal McCambridge Singer and Mahoney, and has served as the firm's corporate secretary and as a member of the Executive Committee. He previously served as an attorney and partner at Lurie, Sklar and Simon from 1984 to 1986. He also served Epton, Mullen, Segal, and Druth in a variety of capacities, which includes acting as corporate secretary from 1980 to 1984, partner from 1977 to 1984, and attorney from 1975 to 1984.

Outside of his work at the law firm, Edward has worked as a member of the Board of Directors of the Asbestos Property Damage Group since 1983. He previously served the Asbestos Defense Group of the city of Chicago as president and chairman of the board from 1978 to 1983. Additionally, he served his community as a trustee of the Village of Brookfield, Illinois from 1980 to 1982. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Michigan State Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, the Illinois Defense Trial Attorneys Association, the Union League Club, Litigation Counsel of America, American Law Registry, and the Lawyers Club of Chicago.

Edward received a JD from the John Marshal Law School in 1975 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of St. Thomas in 1971. He was admitted to practice in Michigan in 1992, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in 1987, the Northern District of the United States District Court of Illinois in 1975, the Southern and Central Districts of the United States Court of Appeals of Illinois in 1987, the Eastern and Western Districts of the United States District Court of Wisconsin in 1987, and in the state of Illinois in 1975. Additionally, he has also authored chapters in books on topics in his field.

Edward was honored with a fellowship by the Litigation Counsel of American in 2013 and was named one of the Top Attorney's in Illinois. He is also featured in Who's Who in American Law, 10th edition. He is the son of Edward Joseph and Irene McCambridge, and he has been married to Joann Randall for more than 40 years. They have two children, Christopher and Michael. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, playing handball, boating, and motorcycling.
