Segal McCambridge co-chair Jeffrey Singer has been appointed to the board of the Center on Wrongful Convictions, a non-profit organization affiliated with Northwestern University's law school. Since its founding in 1998, the Center on Wrongful Convictions has been a key factor in the exoneration of 23 innocent men and women in Illinois. The Center's activities focus on the representation of men and women with claims of actual innocence; research into systemic problems in the criminal justice system; and community services to help newly exonerated former prisoners reintegrate into the community.
