Segal McCambridge Featured in the New York Law Journal for Volunteering to Assist Homeless Individuals
Recently, Segal McCambridge was recognized in the New York Law Journal for its contributions to HELP (Homeless Experience Legal Protection), a pro bono organization started by Judge Jay C. Zainy. Zainy, a Federal Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, draws lawyers from around the country to volunteer to assist this movement using their talents and knowledge. Stimulated by the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, Zainy started HELP to give free legal advice to a struggling community. Although based in New Orleans, HELP now works in many cities to give legal assistance and other aid to the poor. We are excited to be recognized by such a widely-known publication for our worthy efforts in this organization.
