Segal McCambridge Attorney Robert P. Coleman Wins Primary Election for Seat on Philadelphia Common Pleas Court Bench
May 20, 2009 Segal McCambridge attorney Robert P. Coleman has won the primary election for a seat as a judge on the Philadelphia Common Pleas Court in a vote held Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Mr. Coleman was the top vote-getter in a field of 22 candidates vying for seven positions on the Democratic ballot in the November general election.
According to figures reported today by the Philadelphia Inquirer, with 95% of precincts reporting, Mr. Coleman leads the field with 44,937 votes, nearly 7,000 more votes than the second-place finisher, making him the only candidate with a double-digit percentage of the total vote.
