Segal McCambridge Attorney Patricia Baxter Receives First Judicial District Pro Bono Publico Award for Civil Litigation

January 28, 2010

Segal McCambridge attorney Patricia J. Baxter received the Pro Bono Publico Award for Civil Litigation at a ceremony last night sponsored by the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania.  She was recognized for her individual efforts in helping pro bono clients as well as her work in coordinating and expanding the firm's pro bono presence in the local Philadelphia community.

There were over a thousand nominees for the award, the highest accolade that the Board of Judges can bestow upon an attorney for public service. (Awards also are given for service in the criminal and orphan courts divisions.) According to Judge Robert Coleman of the Philadelphia Common Pleas Court, Ms. Baxter was the youngest recipient of the award by at least 20 years.

Everyone at Segal McCambridge joins in congratulating Ms. Baxter and commending her for her commitment to public service.
