Segal McCambridge Elects Three New Shareholders

Segal McCambridge is pleased to announce J. Yasmin Mancini (Chicago Office), Steven R. Rosenblatt (New York Office) and Peter J. Strelitz (Austin Office) have been elected Shareholders.

J. Yasmin Mancini – Ms. Mancini is a trial attorney who concentrates her practice in product liability and toxic tort matters throughout the United States. She currently acts as National Coordinating Counsel, trial counsel and Illinois counsel for several Fortune 500 companies in both asbestos and silica litigation. She also has considerable experience defending general product liability, professional liability and medical malpractice matters. Ms. Mancini has tried cases in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Connecticut. She also served as co-author of "Benzene: A Litigation Perspective" published in Harris Martin's Litigation Watch: Benzene in July 2006.

Steven R. Rosenblatt – Mr. Rosenblatt concentrates his practice on product liability, toxic tort and commercial litigation. He serves as National Coordinating Counsel and local counsel for several large corporations in asbestos litigation, and has represented defendants in pharmaceutical, tobacco, medical device and other mass tort litigation. Mr. Rosenblatt has conducted intensive training programs preparing numerous corporate witnesses for deposition, and seminars on asbestos litigation, various industrial products, legal writing and deposition techniques. He has written articles on insurance matters, conducting due diligence and corporate witness deposition preparation.

Peter J. Strelitz – Mr. Strelitz handles a wide variety of complex litigation defending large corporations, products manufacturers and trucking companies as lead Texas counsel. Mr. Strelitz's clients include Fortune 500 companies as well as other national and local entities. He has also represented state agencies, universities, university administrators and individual state employees in general liability, civil rights and employment law cases. Mr. Strelitz has been appointed trial counsel in cases defending the office of the Texas governor and has testified before The Texas House of Representatives in regard to his defense of state health care programs litigated in federal court. Mr. Strelitz has successfully tried several cases to verdict in both state and federal court.
