The benefits and challenges of Segal McCambridge’s 55th and 56th floor office spaces in the Willis Tower were featured in Chicago Lawyer Magazine’s August 1 “Spaces” section. The article explains how the firm’s 78,000 square foot space spread out over two floors seemed expansive when the lease started in 2007, but Segal McCambridge grew into it, now housing 94 attorneys in its Chicago office. The views, internal staircase, mock court room and attorney lounge are discussed as some of special functions of the office.
The article also detailed the unique artwork in the office’s hallways, as well as some of the quirky artifacts in shareholders’ offices, like William Mahoney’s collection of nutcrackers and Edward McCambridge’s skeleton named Steve.
