Segal McCambridge Singer & Mahoney is pleased to announce that four associate attorneys have been elected shareholders in the firm.

Jill M. Felkins is a trial and appellate attorney in the firm’s Chicago office and was promoted from associate to shareholder. Ms. Felkins devotes her practice to defending clients in the areas of products liability, premises liability, negligence, personal injury, class action, toxic tort, and commercial litigation. Ms. Felkins provides a wide range of litigation services to her clients from initial analysis and pretrial workup through trial and appeal. Ms. Felkins practices in state and federal courts in Illinois, Indiana, and beyond. She has obtained summary judgment for national and local clients in multiple areas of law, including premises, toxic tort, transportation, and environmental contamination coverage litigation.
Christopher McGowan practices in Segal McCambridge’s Philadelphia office and was promoted from associate to shareholder. Mr. McGowan defends clients involved in products liability matters arising from exposure to toxic substances including asbestos, benzene, silica, mold, and other environmental hazards. He has served as lead trial attorney on cases and is experienced with all aspects of the litigation process. In addition to his extensive toxic tort/environmental practice, Mr. McGowan also counsels clients in construction, tort claims immunity, and general liability matters.
Kerry L. Rhoads-Reith of Segal McCambridge’s Detroit office was promoted from of counsel to shareholder. She is an experienced litigator who serves clients at both the state and federal levels. Ms. Reith practices in the areas of professional liability, products liability, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, errors and omissions, civil rights defense, employment law, transportation negligence, premises liability, insurance coverage, and fraud. This array of experience has led to Ms. Reith serving as trial and appellate counsel for her clients.
Jenni L. Young, formerly an associate in the Chicago office, was promoted to shareholder. During the course of her legal career, Ms. Young has represented clients in various areas of law, including business law (i.e., corporate formation and litigation); personal injury (e.g., medical and legal malpractice defense and toxic tort litigation), and insurance (e.g., insurance coverage litigation and insurance defense). Ms. Young has managed the Illinois asbestos dockets for two Fortune 500 corporations and has extensive experience in all phases of litigation involving disputes in state, federal and multi-district proceedings. Ms. Young currently handles toxic tort defense matters directly in Illinois and manages multi-state litigation.
