Chicago Shareholder Scott Henry Elected to the Board of Lawyers Lend-A-Hand to Youth

Segal McCambridge Chicago Shareholder Scott Henry was elected to the board of Lawyers Lend-A-Hand to Youth, a non-profit organization that channels the legal community’s resources to promote mentoring and tutoring programs in disadvantaged Chicago communities.

Lawyers Lend-A-Hand (LLAH) awards grants to support the general operations of local one-to-one tutoring and mentoring programs, providing 13 such grants in 2016. New to the program last year is the “Lend-A-Hand Tutoring at the CBA” program, which buses students from the Englewood community to the Chicago Bar Association so that attorneys can tutor them.

As a board member, Mr. Henry will be responsible assisting with decision- making and fundraising for the organization, attending site visits for potential grant recipients, participating in board meetings, joining an LLAH committee, and supporting LLAH programs and events.  To learn more about Lawyers Lend-A-Hand, click here.

Scott Henry is a senior shareholder in Segal McCambridge’s Chicago office and serves as Co-Chair of the firm's Environmental/Class Action Practice Group.  Mr. Henry's focuses his practice on litigating products and premises liability matters throughout the country. Mr. Henry’s experience includes managing toxic tort, environmental and multi-district class action cases as national coordinating counsel.
