Major Development in Case of Christina Eilman, Client of Segal McCambridge

The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled today that Christina Eilman may proceed with her lawsuit against the Chicago Police Department. Ms. Eilman suffered serious, life affecting injuries in 2006 after having been detained by police and released in a violent neighborhood, despite the fact that she was suffering from a bipolar disorder manic episode at the time. Ms. Eilman subsequently was assaulted in a public housing building and was thrown or fell from the seventh floor of the building.

Jeffrey Singer, Kimberly Kayiwa, Misty Martin and Mitchell Morinec are representing Ms. Eilman.
