Ms. Carlucci received her Bachelor of Science Nursing degree from the University of Scranton in 1994. Afterwards, Ms. Carlucci worked as a staff nurse at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in the Trauma Surgical Intensive Care Unit. In this capacity, Ms. Carlucci provided care to complex, critically ill patients.

In 1999, Ms. Carlucci joined Merck & Co. in the product safety department which focused on regulatory reporting to the FDA concerning the safety of drugs during both clinical trials and post-marketing environments. During this time, Ms. Carlucci attended law school at night. In 2004, Ms. Carlucci received her Juris Doctorate degree from the Widener University School of Law.

In 2004, Ms. Carlucci joined Segal McCambridge Singer & Mahoney, Ltd in their New York office. Ms. Carlucci is a member of the New York Bar, New Jersey Bar and Pennsylvania Bar, as well as the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Ms. Carlucci's litigation practice is concentrated in the areas of products liability, toxic tort and environmental law. Ms. Carlucci is a member of the American Bar Association and a member of the Health Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. Ms. Carlucci’s nursing and pharmaceutical work experiences are assets to the medical issues which arise during the defense of the claims. Her current responsibilities include attending discovery depositions, pre-trial work-ups and trial preparation.

SIGNIFICANT RECENT ENGAGEMENTS

  • Won jury verdict for defense in New Jersey wrongful death case alleging disease caused to 30-year cigarette smoker by workplace exposure to asbestos and diesel exhaust fumes.
  • Co-authored brief to New York's highest state court regarding nonexistence of a duty for a premises owner to a member of an employee's household for secondary exposure to a toxic substance.
