Print PDFNicola Serianni is a senior associate in Segal McCambridge Singer Mahoney's Philadelphia Office. Ms. Serianni focuses her practice in the areas of toxic torts, environmental law, products liability, and motor vehicle law. In particular, she assists a manufacturing client as National Coordinating Counsel by facilitating the nationwide defense of its asbestos matters. Ms. Serianni also has experience defending claims involving drilling and hydraulic fracturing matters, slip and fall accidents, automobile accidents, and other general liability matters. Ms. Serianni handles cases from inception to completion and has actively defended clients in all aspects of pre-trial and trial work in both state and federal courts, and she is adept at drafting well-crafted and highly developed legal arguments.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Ms. Serianni served the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a law clerk to two judges of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. Her experience during her clerkships provides her with in-depth knowledge of the appellate courts.
REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

Successfully argued an appeal in the Pennsylvania Superior Court, granting a New Jersey commercial property owner's motion to dismiss for improper venue, as the accident, parties and witnesses all existed in the State of New Jersey.

Obtained stipulation of dismissal of pro bono client in automobile accident based on the theory of respondeat superior, where the client was working as an employee and driver for a company when the company vehicle inadvertently jolted forward and injured another employee.
