Attorney Stephanie Tomal focuses her practice in toxic tort litigation. She currently serves on the National Coordinating Counsel team for an international company and frequently defends a number of industrial product manufacturers at depositions throughout the country. Ms. Tomal is well-versed in all aspects of case management on both local and national levels. Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Ms. Tomal worked in insurance defense, where she represented individuals and businesses facing personal injury, premise liability, wrongful death and battery lawsuits.
Ms. Tomal obtained her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, Illinois in 2009 with a certificate in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution. While at Chicago-Kent, she spent a semester at Waikato University in Hamilton, New Zealand studying international law and politics.
Ms. Tomal completed her undergrad studies at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California, graduating cum laude with a degree in international business. During her time at university, she spent semesters and summers studying at Peking University in Beijing, China; Kingsley College in Melbourne, Australia, Salamanca University in Salamanca, Spain; and Lithuania Christian College in Klaipėda, Lithuania.
