Ms. Axelrod's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on contract disputes and business torts.  She also represents a variety of clients, including large public companies, in complex product liability, construction and toxic tort litigation.  Ms. Axelrod has experience in international commercial arbitration, mergers and investment operations.  Her experience includes serving as in-house counsel for one of Russia's largest brewing companies and providing counsel regarding securities regulations, corporate restructuring and governance issues.  Ms. Axelrod received her J.D. from the Moscow State Academy of Law in 1997 and her LL.M degree from Cornell Law School in 2002.  Her native language is Russian.  She is fluent in English.
