Ms. Nicholson has acted as coordinating counsel for a major friction products manufacturer in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Connecticut, managing and advising local counsel on settlement, discovery issues and strategy with respect to products liability claims. She also has considerable experience defending site safety companies and construction contractors in labor law actions.

Ms. Nicholson has worked with non-profit organizations continuously since 1997 on issues as simple as incorporation, and recently, on issues as complex as the implications of Sarbanes-Oxley on the nonprofit organization.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

  • Court appointed liaison counsel for asbestos cases in the 7th and 8th Judicial Districts of New York.
  • Negotiated dismissal of friction products manufacturer in a case involving a 45 year old plaintiff with mesothelioma who alleged exposure in the Dominican Republic.
